About Us

United Childcare

Serving children and their families since 1995, United Child Care Center is a non-profit child care and preschool. We care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, and also operate a before and after school program with bus service to Central-Denison Elementary, Eastview Elementary, and St. Francis Catholic School. Our goal lies in education of the whole child by providing learning opportunities for cognitive, physical, and social-emotional growth. Our mission is to provide quality early childhood care and education in a safe and nurturing environment. We strive to strengthen the bridge between work and family life by creating a special place that supports them both.

Safety

At United Child Care we have security measures in place that limits access to our child care centers. Security access is required to enter our facility and only approved family and friends will pick up your child.  A background check is required of all staff. Other saftey measures include CPR certified staff, fire evacuation infant cribs and safe play areas wrapped in secure fencing.

Nutrition

We believe nutrition and healthy eating habits are fundamental skills for young children.
It is our goal to provide a variety of healthy meals and snacks that are nutritious for your child, developmentally appropriate and properly portioned.  All meals meet federal and state requirements. United Child Care participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) which  provides aid to child care institutions for the provision of nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children.

Accredidation

Our teachers are dedicated, nuturing caregivers who are trained in child development, early-childhood education or a related field.
